Before you fall in love with a sofa, measure your room. As a general rule, leave at least 45cm of walkway around your sofa. Also measure your doorways and hallways — you need to be sure your new sofa can actually get into your home!
Common sofa sizes to know:
- 2-seater: approximately 150–180cm wide
- 3-seater: approximately 190–230cm wide
- Corner/L-shaped: 250–320cm across the longest side
2. Think About How You Use It
